A haptics focused company, Sense Graphics will present their H3D API which is an open source project, though commercial licensing possibilities also exist. The project is funded by SenseGraphics AB. H3D API was developed to stimulate application development of haptic (touch) enabled VR applications such as medical simulation, medical visualisation and entertainment applications. SenseGraphics sees an enormous commercial potential in such VR applications.
